Priorities

Build community that's welcoming and joyful

  • Make it easier for people who love Annapolis to invest in Annapolis—including their homes, small businesses, and neighborhoods—by slashing red tape.

  • Fix our broken transportation systems so parking is easy, biking is safe, and walking is fun.

  • Cap the percentage of short term rentals on a block and enforce strict neighborliness standards.

Optimize government for trust and results

  • Implement outcomes-based budgeting and require departments to develop SMART goals based on our comprehensive plan.

  • Ensure elections reflect the people's will through ranked voting, term limits, and no dark money.

  • Constantly seek efficiencies within the city budget to save YOU money.

Protect our people, history, and environment

  • Ensure safe communities with more lighting, police walking beats, and partnerships with residents and business to solve more crimes.

  • Dynamically preserve our history with smart standards that balance the past and present.

  • Clean air, water, and parks. Always.

Focus on local issues

  • The City Dock project should be about unpaving paradise and preserving it for posterity. Let’s make it happen quickly and responsibly!

  • Rebalance our budget away from new projects and towards maintaining what we have.

  • Respond rapidly to constituent concerns and speed up response times for city services.
